Collotype press for amateurs Faller
We have to indicate also the attempts made for some time to put the phototypie within the reach of all the amateurs. We built in this purpose of small devices such as that of the face(figure) 67. He(it) contains a plate(patch) of gelatin quite prepared on parchment: there is only to impress it and to pull the proof sheets. We so obtain good results ; but these devices require a certain skill.

Collotype press for amateurs inspired by the lithographic press. The pressure was exercised by pressing on the lever to the left. The crank to the right allowed the travel of the support.
